It’s raining in the city today, and the weekend is almost here. I’m pining for a beach escape. Last weekend we spent on glorious Stradbroke Island. The sun was warm, the ocean transparent turquoise and the island vibe was fantastically relaxing, creatively inspiring me for the week ahead. But 5 days later, reality is grinding and I need another big dose of sand in my toes and fresh ocean air to clear my head. To lift my spirits, I created a “Castaway” mood board. These images have always helped soothe my soul and calm my mind, so compiling them together made sense. I hope that their effect is universal and you enjoy them as much as I do.
